Shape windows

— windows of non-standard shapes

Exclusive and non-standard forms of windows will decorate any house both outside and inside. Ordinary architectural forms are fabulously transformed with the help of windows, the overall aesthetic level of the building is raised.

The technology allows manufacturing not only rectangular windows, but also round, oval, triangular and others.

Types of windows by geometric shape

Rectangular and square windows are a classic that we have all been accustomed to for a long time. At the present stage of development of the window industry, any form of windows is available for ordering and execution, you just need to find a good manufacturer.

Geometric shapes with corners are simpler in execution, but for arched, round, elliptical structures, as well as structures with a reverse profile bend, special equipment is needed. Accordingly, it is necessary to deal with such orders with trusted well-known manufacturers.

Forms of shape double glazed windows

Arched windows

All arched windows are divided in shape into: semi-circular (often found in Orthodox churches), lancet (can be found in Gothic-style buildings) and Moorish windows (similar to a horseshoe).

The lower part of the arched windows is easy to make with an opening, which is very convenient during operation.

Round windows

Round windows are rare, more often in buildings built before the revolution, but they are also present in modern cottages. They are divided into round and semicircular.

Spherical elements are not reinforced, so it is not possible to make sashes in round windows, they are made in exceptional cases and are very expensive, largely due to the price of fittings for them.

Trapezoidal windows

These windows are mainly installed in country houses and cottages, mainly under the roof, as it is possible to increase the area of the window and achieve maximum illumination of the room with sunlight.

There are two and three-fold. Each sash can be opened if, using an impost, a rectangle is made under the sash. It is often necessary to mill the impost manually.

Triangular windows

Such windows, as well as trapezoidal ones, are usually installed under the roof of country houses and cottages, thereby increasing the illumination of attic spaces. They usually do not have large linear dimensions, so most often they are single-leaf.

A significant limitation is the angle at the joints of the workpieces, it cannot be less than 30 degrees, otherwise it will not work to solder the profiles. If you refuse to solder and fix them mechanically, you will be able to make a window with a lower degree, but blowing may appear.
